Many people start January with New Year’s resolutions. I don’t. I have always tried to keep motivated throughout the whole year by aims, tasks and similar to stay fit and healthy. That’s just me, and I do not judge anyone, and also think it is better to start something now then never.
PARIS MARATHON 2018
Towards the end of 2017, Fitness 4 Mamas was very busy, and I have secured a few very interesting fitness collaborations. One of these was from Human race Events who have kindly offered me to run the Paris Marathon 2018 as part of the London Running Club.
There was no way, I would have ever refused. I actually had the Paris Marathon booked 2 years ago, but unfortunately was not able to go.
Soon afterwards I made sure that my hubby and my girls are free to join too and I booked their Eurostar tickets and hotel accomodation. The last time when I ran the Venice Marathon, I really missed their company.
It was not the same as I was not able to share my pride and achievement straight after completing my 3rd marathon with anyone. Not this time, they will be coming with me and cheering me on while wondering the streets of Paris!
We took our girls to Paris last year in the spring. Who would have thought I would be running the marathon there a year later?
I cannot even describe how much I am excited, and not only about the actual race day, but also about all the training involved.
