Autumn and winter are undoubtedly my least favourite seasons for the lack of sunshine. Luckily I focus my mind on my fitness routines and training for the upcoming challenges planned for the spring and also have my Lumie Vitamin L Therapy Light.
Not only I have the Paris Marathon booked for April, but I am also happy to say that I have been offered to run the London Winter Run which I missed in 2017. Looks like 2018 is gonna be a year of some fab running challenges for me, and I am getting super excited!
The UK’s coolest 10km running event, the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run, will return for a fourth year on Sunday 4th February 2018.
The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 10k has grown significantly in recent years, establishing itself as the capital’s second biggest running event behind the marathon. It will once again take place on closed roads in Central London passing a number of world-famous landmarks and raise money for life-saving research.
Last year, record 16,500 runners took to the closed streets of central London to take part in the annual Cancer Research UK London Winter Run – now hailed as the capitals largest 10KM.
Registration for 2018 is now open.
Many believe that taking part in a marathon will be their only prospect to experience running in a city centre past thousands of spectators, but the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run gives you the same opportunity, with an achievable 10km distance to complete.
I love running in London. As I have sadly not got a place in the London Marathon 2018 ( was playing a bit with the idea of running two marathons in 1 month), running along the wonderful city landmarks in cold temperatures shall be unforgettable too. Have you run it?
