From following my blog you know I love running and keeping fit, and often blog and tweet about it. I would love to announce that I have been asked to become the Kiqplan Brand ambassador to introduce Fitness 4 Mamas readers to Kiqplan Race For Life App.
I have not planned any races till next September, but one of my very good friends every June joins the Watford Cassiobury 5km Race for Life run, and I thought it would be a perfect start for me. It will also be on the first morning when I wake up being 40 years old, so that will definitely mark the occasion even more!
A few times before I have mentioned on this blog that I strongly believe that we as parents need to lead the right example for our kids, so my and my friends’ children will be also joining us on the day.
It might be the case that I will be the only one running the whole race as not sure if our kids could run such a distance, but Race for Life is all about getting out there, doing it together, get fitter and healthier, isn’t it? It’s not about the finish time… a note to the competitive side of myself (still need to decide if I will go for my best time for 5km, or will take it easy with the rest of the group).
Anyway, I am very excited to be chosen as the Kiqplan brand ambassador as I believe the idea behind the digital coach is fantastic and can really help many people out there.
You might think I am very fit and lead the healthiest lifestyle, but it’s not entirely true. I have decided that I also need to kick out a few bad habits, and not only concentrate on my exercises and fitness, but also need to make more effort with choosing the right food and definitely need to decrease the amount of wine I consume. Here you have it, I said it out loud!
I think the most important is always to acknowledge there are things to change, and we all have some, and then to do something about it.
