Klinovec Czech Republic
This week I was not planning to take part in the Gallery, but how could I not to? The theme is health & fitness! We had an amazing time during half-term holidays, mostly spent skiing and swimming in the Czech Republic.
I love holidays, but there is now way I would spend most of the time on my bum, and the same means for my two girls who I believe see me as a great example ( humble me!), and love all sorts of sports.
Isabelle started skiing when she was 3 years old, but to be honest unless you live near the mountains and are able to take your little ones every weekend, I wouldn’t bother. It was a great experience, but iI think we will leave it for at least 2 more years with Olivia, as Isabelle was able to start enjoying it and ski well since she was about 5 years old.
Bublava Czech Republic
This year she put on her ski gear and started skiing without any help of any ski instructors, and I was so proud. We even managed to check out the new ski lift at Klinovec Krusne Hory in the Czech Republic. She was very brave as it was not the easiest ski slope/run, and after 3 days of skiing she improved loads and was so confident I just could not believe. Or maybe I could as I think she must have inherited some of my ski genes, what do you think?
Anyway, how was your half-term holiday?
I would highly appreciate if you could spare a few pounds & sponsored me for this year’s Swimathon. Thank you x
Looks like so much fun. My dad loved to ski, but I’ve never tried it. I should. Looks amazing x
Go for it Susan, you will love it!
What a great post. I would love to have a go at skiing. My father grew up in Austria and would always tell us tales of how he had to ski to school.
Skiing in Austria is fabulous, went once but hopefully again soon with my girls. Give it a go!
Wow, well done to her. That’s amazing. We’ve never been skiing, but my husband is forever saying we should go.
And the less said about our half-term the better!
You really should, it’s a great outdoor family activity! Off to check your blog, hope you are OK!
That looks amazing! I went sking once and fell over and hurt my ankle so I was put off LOL.
If I should count how many times I have fallen in my life… but that is part of learning! Shame you have given up. Try it again!
