Welcome back to first Fitness Tuesday this year. Unfortunately I was fighting a nasty virus for over 2 weeks, so I had to stop my fitness routines just before the end of 2015. After a lovely run along a beach in Fuerteventura a nasty cough conquered me, and I finished up on antibiotics.
Last week I finally felt much better and could not stay inactive, and went for a spinning lesson. It was a killer as expected, but so worth it. I will be back to running soon!
As a keen runner, I always find any tips on running very helpful. I have never experienced a runner’s burnout myself, but who knows when this can happen?
Have you ever felt that running is not fun anymore, or that you cannot beat your speed? Check out these tips on how to identify and overcome runner’s burnout.

Brilliant advice & info thanks I have suffered the hard way & had to learn the hard way too.
What a brilliant post Mirka, the infographics are great. Runner burnout is such an easy thing to fall into by accident. It can be hard to harness the enthusiasm and pace yourself sometimes. I’ve been running without my sports watch since the spring and I’ve really enjoyed running for running’s sake and not to get faster or fitter and it’s been a welcome break.
