Have you heard of the IronFIT movement yet? I am very pleased to introduce you to Stefania Iancu who is the founder and inspiration behind it. She shares her knowledge on postpartum depression, motherhood, fitness and weight loss.
At the age of 22, she embarked on a 150 Lbs weight-loss journey. By the time she was 25, she became a mother for the first time right before opening the doors of her fitness facility.
As a first time mum with a history of mental health, Stefania suffered a severe postpartum depression, which almost cost her relationship with her partner and son.
Within six months postpartum, she used therapy and fitness to regain self-esteem and confidence and ultimately defeated postpartum depression.
With postpartum depression still a taboo topic in today’s society, Stefania uses her transparency and struggles through life: being bullied as a teenager by family and friends to help and empower millions of women regaining self-confidence and empowerment after pregnancy.
The IronFIT movement was born with the sole purpose of helping mothers defeating postpartum depression by learning to love themselves and their body after pregnancy.
I love the idea behind this and how Stefania is empowering women through a positive mindset, effective adaptive motherhood and a sustainable healthy body. I also put on loads of weight when pregnant with my older daughter 10 years ago, and lost all thanks to sticking to my fitness routines. Second time round I gained only a few extra kilos and kept fit throughout my pregnancy, and felt amazing.
THE FOUR QUADRANTS: MINDSET, BODY, RELATIONSHIPS AND MOTHERHOOD
Stefania says: “Rather than focusing solely on fitness, the four quadrants I teach look into life as a whole. From the moment one becomes a mum and get exposed to the reality of being a mum, the mindset, body, relationships and motherhood abilities are greatly affected.
The Four quadrants of Mama PowerClass are delivered online at the convenience of mums. I personally teach these four quadrants based on truly extraordinary life experiences and deep insight into what it takes to truly transform.
Being deeply involved in the fitness space as an instructor and co-owning a fitness facility gave me a great insight into what it takes to move ones from where they are to where they want to be.”
