If you join #FitnessTuesday linky on a regular basis, you remember me mentioning how proud I was to run the Race for Life in Cassiobury Park on 14th june. Thanks to twitter I have been contacted by the local newspaper Watford Observer who have asked if they could feature us online and in the newspaper. Of course I was happy to go ahead.
Then Iย had completely forgotten about it until Friday afternoon when one of the school mums texted me that she spotted us in the papers! I went and checked the online version too, and made sure we bought two copies to keep. On Sunday when Isabelle was joining her brownies friends at the Aquadrome in Rickmansworth a few of her friends have been shouting that they saw her in the newspapers too. You should see her face she was so proud and love all the attention!
So here you have it, our first ever mention in the papers!
Anyway, we loved joining the Race For Life and will be doing so next year again, and even if you are not a runner, please join in with your little ones, they can walk it. The atmosphere is amazing and of course all the donations go to the charity and can help so many people. Check the website and look for a race close to you and let me know all about how it went and join the linky again!
By the way, have you seen all the lovely fitness giveaways I have added?
