This Thursday will see me and my girls flying to the Czech Republic for the whole of school summer holidays as every year. We love spending time with my family and friends, and it’s also very good for both of my daughters to practise their Czech.
If you read about my latest sport challenge, you know I have started training for my next marathon, this time in Venice. I am super excited as I have never been to this well known city and from what I have seen it will be another unforgettable experience.
This also means lots of training during summer the holiday which is usually the time of the year for me when I switch off and don’t do any serious training. It is not going to be easy for me to stay focussed and on track as if I do not train during the summer holidays, I will not have enough time to prepare for the big run. I like to be prepared and believe that I can do it.
What are you summer plans?
As we all ease off during the summer holidays, this linky will be open for much longer than usually, until we are back in September, so please feel free to link as many posts as you like, and share the comment love too.
Happy summer holidays to you all, and keep fit!

Good luck with your training!! I’m just about to sign up for my half marathon in October and still aiming for a full one in the spring. Venice sounds like such a lovely place to have an amazing run. Have a fab time in the Czech Republic too!
