Enjoy the Ultimate ‘Very British Sunday’ in East Village E20
On Sunday 10th July 2016, East Village, the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village, will host a free entry ‘Very British Sunday’ event that brings together the best of all that is quintessentially British.
The southern end of Victory Park will be transformed into Murray Mound, E20 style, complete with a giant screen to watch the Wimbledon final unfold whilst relaxing on giant beanbags.
To keep the little ones entertained, along with those wanting a break from the on-court action, a fun-filled array of children’s games and retro fairground rides will be available, so visitors have a good time, no matter the outcome on the court.
In true Wimbledon fashion, there will be a range of delicious British food and drink from a wide variety of unique retailers.
Grab a drink to toast the final at Grays & Feather’s pop-up Champagne bar, serving Champagne, Pimm’s and strawberries and cream or if feeling a little more peckish, attendees can indulge in traditional picnic food from Outsider Tart or take tea in a marquee serving home-made light bites from Comfort & Joy Caterers.
East Village E20 is fast-becoming known as a growing neighbourhood that champions the best independent shops and restaurants in London.
Visitors can also drop into one of the exciting existing local retailers or visit the East Village Market, every Sunday from 11am – 4pm
